PE Distance Learning Syllabus



6th, 7th & 8th Grade

Mission Statement: The mission of Physical Education is to empower all students to sustain regular, lifelong physical activity as a foundation for a healthy, productive and fulfilling life.

Grading: Physical Activity 60% Health & Wellness 20% Sport’s Unit 20%

Sports Units: Football, Baseball, Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee

Making Up Lost Points: If a student is sick on the day of class and can not participate in the class activity, he/she should contact their teacher and make arrangements to make up missed work. If a student is absent more than three days in a row, a doctor’s note is required. Please email the doctor’s note to your teacher. Your PE grade will be frozen until you are released back to PE.  


Grades: A student’s grade is determined by the number of points earned as a percentage of those available as follows: 

 100-90% = A; 89-80% = B; 79-70% = C; 69-60% = D; 59-0% = F
