Two Clearances Required
The physical exam requirement must be completed by a physician and turned into Ms. Leiva before students can participate in practice or games.
*If you received a physical prior to June 1st, you will have to get a new physical for this school year!
Student (7th and 8th grade) Cross Country meeting Monday, August 24th @ 7:45 am, Location to be determined
This meeting is NOT mandatory
6th grade students can pick up information packets after school in room 611 until 3 pm

IMPORTANT! All runners must race in 3 Meets in order to qualify for the North Country Cross Country Championships on October 28th! If a runner does not race in 3 meets, they cannot race at Championships.
Race times:
4:00 – 8th grade girls;
4:25ish – 8th grade boys;
4:50ish – 6th and 7th grade girls;
5:15ish – 6th and 7th grade boys.
*The 8th grade girls race is the only one that is an exact time. All others follow about 20-25 minutes afterward, depending on the last finisher from the previous race.
Athlete Race Procedures
- An athlete needs to run a minimum or 3 NCMSXC races to qualify for the XC championship.
- Divisions & Race order: Girls 8th, Boys 8th, Girls 6/7, Boys 6/7- Start Time 4/4:15ish
- Once an athlete is moved up in a division; the athlete may not be moved down.
- No move-ups for championship.
- Trophies-Top 4 teams per division.

- Elementary age children will not be allowed to race.
- Parents and athletes must be off the course 15 minutes prior to the start of the meet.
- Parents and siblings are not permitted to run alongside athletes.
- Course marshals will be on course.
- Keep finish chute area clear.

Please remember we are guests when competing at other sites or parks. All athletes and spectators are to be on their best behavior while representing our schools. Please pick up trash and recycling.
